Since the 1980's thousands of hospitals have used imprinter wristbands as their primary choice for positive patient identification.
Imprinter wristbands are simple to implement because blue card embossers are widely used in hospitals today. Imprinter wristbands work with all imprinter machines. You can imprint, write-on or place a label onto the surface of the wristband.
Whether you choose polyester, vinyl or tri-laminate materials, we offer you the choice of adult, adult/pediatric or infant sizes.
Adhesive or clasp closure – when choosing your wristband, you can select either an adhesive or clasp closure. Some facilities like the adhesive closure bands since they are easy to use and do not require a separate clasp. Those locations preferring a more permanent closure may opt for a band with a secondary clasp that is secured through pre-punched holes. St. John’s unique wristband clasps are color-coded and/or embossed to enable hospitals to implement individual or multiple color coded alerts and warnings into a single wristband. |
